Thursday calls for some travel inspiration and there is no doubt this Victorian B&B will inspire you to travel and experience the hospitality of Southern West Ontario first hand. Last week I was in hibernation mode because I got hit by a terrible stomach flu but before hand I got to stay at the beautiful Iron Kettle B&B in Comber built in 1876. It is a known fact in my household that Victorian homes are my jam.The architecture just captivates me so much it is rather annoying. With modern furnishings yet with some antique findings that truly add character to the home, as well as the bay windows, original hardwood floors and beautiful 10 feet high ceilings, I gasp every time I see a Victorian home. And of course cannot help but think of its rich history. Who lived here? When was the house built? Does the property have original furnishings? Fear not, Iron Kettle comes with lots of new and old historical facts that will definitely satisfy your guest curiosity. Our host, Ben gave us a tour around the house and shared all if its history.
