The Bank Theatre and Meeting Place
The theatre opened it’s doors to the public on August 31, 2012. The quaint 100 seat venue sold out all shows giving confidence to all those invested that in completion the main floor with tiered seating for 220 guests will be able to accommodate the interest of our vibrant community.
The building was constructed circa 1850 and Prior to The Sun Parlour Players; it was a Bank of Montreal, hence the name The Bank Theatre. The Theatre is a labour of love for many hard working volunteers. The passion for live performances and the drive to improve Leamington’s core is shared by town council. The Bank Theatre is a vibrant, viable, modern facility that is accessible and WIFI ready.
