All Aboard:

Located at 169 Lansdowne Avenue in Kingsville is Mettawas Station. Originally designed by architect Albert Kahn at the request of Hiram Walker, Mettawas Station was constructed in the late 19th century as a means to bring passengers from Windsor to the Mettawas Hotel in Kingsville.

While the train station may no longer be in use, owner and Chef Anthony Del Brocco found a new purpose for the incredible property. Anthony loves to cook, and chose Mettawas Station as his restaurantโ€™s home, as he wanted a nice building to match his beautiful cuisine.

Cuisine:

The Mettawas Station Restaurant has been in operation for over 10 years, with a menu filled with Mediterranean cuisine, like their Rack of Lamb and their award-winning โ€˜Train-Wreck Sandwichโ€™.

Anthony has a passion for his Italian heritage and cuisine, and creates incredible dishes like their traditional Spaghetti and Meatballs. In addition to their Italian foods, he strives to expand his culinary work to be reflective of more cuisine within the Mediterranean. Over the years, his menu has expanded to cover numerous areas within the Mediterranean including: Lebanon, Greece, and Northern Africa.

Mettawas Station focuses on gourmet cuisine, with everything they serve being created from scratch in-house. They have a vast menu of appetizers, entrees, and desserts made from locally sourced and fresh ingredients. In addition to their restaurant menu, they also have items that can be purchased separately, like their homemade sauces.
