Canada 150 in Sound and Light

Saturday July 1 – Sunday July 2, 2017. A multi-media presentation that celebrates 150 years of Canadian History showcasing regional defining moments and the individuals responsible for them.  This presentation will celebrate our nation’s past and empower those in attendance to achieve new heights and goals as Canadian Citizens. In addition to the multimedia high definition big screen presentations, the show will also feature  live performances by First Nations Members, Re-enactors,  Music Express Concert Band, Sun Parlour Pipes and Drives and multiple special effects. The story boards for the presentation will be created using photos from Master of Photography member and Diamond Jubilee medal recipient Spike Bell who has authored three pictorial books featuring the Windsor and Essex County Area. This project is being filmed by Cogeco Windsor for future presentations. Funded by Ontario 150, Celebrate Ontario, and Heritage Canada.
