Adventure Bay Family Water Park
Friday February 16 – Monday February 19, 2018. Adventure Bay is extending their hours for the Family Day Weekend! Enjoy extended water park hours each day from Friday, February 16 to Monday, February 19, 2018. Regular admission applies

Family Day Weekend at Point Pelee National Park
Friday February 16 – Monday February 19, 2018. We’ll be celebrating the Great Backyard Bird Count weekend and tallying up all our bird sightings – join us at our campfire outside the Visitor Centre between 12 to 4 pm to add your sightings to our list, enjoy a warm cup of hot chocolate (bring your own mug if you can) and some S’mores before heading out on a trail for a game of Pelee Bingo.

Inside the Visitor Centre we’ll have a Kids’ Craft Centre, with winter bird themed crafts and a special feature film each day at 3 pm. Stick around on the evening of February 17 and join members of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada – Windsor Centre for an evening of star gazing from the Visitor Centre parking lot. Or better yet, spend the entire weekend with us in a Parks Canada oTENTik. Programs are included in park admission.

Museum Windsor
Saturday February 17, 2018. 
Museum Windsor is celebrating Heritage Day by offering free admission to both the Chimczuk Museum and the François Baby House. This family friendly event will feature lots of great activities including children’s crafts, balloon animals, magic tricks, and much more!

In addition, visitors will have the opportunity to view FIVE new exhibits including: Cursive Writing: Reading and Writing the Old School Way, Material Culture: the things we make to live, Creative Brush Strokes, Die Cast From The Past: A History of Autos, and “Breaking the Colour Barrier: Wilfred ‘Boomer’ Harding and the Chatham Coloured All-Stars”. Celebrate the past this Heritage Day with a visit to the Chimczuk Museum and the François Baby House.
