Sturgeon Creek Restoration and Community Planting

Saturday May 26, 2018.  Join ERCA, Caldwell First Nation and the Essex County Field Naturalists’ Club to plant native trees, shrubs, wildflowers and grasses at the new restoration project along Sturgeon Creek. Volunteers will learn about this multi-partner restoration project and will gain first hand experience in transforming the old marina back into a natural state! All volunteers should wear appropriate clothing which includes long pants and shirt sleeves with sturdy, close-toed footwear. Lunch will be provided for those who have registered. Please bring any additional snacks and a reusable water bottle. All other equipment and materials will be provided.
