In person events are not permitted indoors, and outdoor services are restricted to five persons. Any events are encouraged to be virtual moving forward.

Saturday Nov 14, 2020 – Monday Jan 4, 2021
King’s Navy Yard Park – 252 Dalhousie St.

Visit a town immersed in the holiday spirit! Every night, 100’s of customized LED light displays light up the town two main parks. Toddy Jones Park features whimsical, playful displays for the kids and the kid at heart to enjoy. Along the Detroit River, visit the King’s Navy Yard Park. You will see traditional displays that showcase the warm hearted feel of the season with carolers, angels, soldiers and more.

We please ask that all COVID-19 regulations and social distancing from other families are adhered to while safely visiting the parks. Masks are mandatory.

Holiday Stroll

Saturday November 14 – the end of December 2020

Until we can present the traditional Holiday House Tour again, proud homeowners along one of the oldest streets in Amherstburg have uniquely decorated their front yards and porches in holiday style. Rankin Avenue, in the heart of downtown and across the street from the River Lights displays in Kings Navy Yard Park, will be lit and decorated for outdoor, sidewalk strollers during November and December. Please stay on the sidewalk as all COVID-19 and social distancing regulations apply.


Candy Cane Lane

Presented by the Town of Essex Arts Culture and Tourism (ACT) Committee in partnership with the Essex Centre BIA, the Candy Cane Lane Christmas Light & Decorating Contest will challenge residents and businesses owners to put their best lights forward in this festive celebration. Properties will be listed and mapped so visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour of these outstanding displays. All submissions have been published to an online, interactive map.  All submissions are broken down by individual homes, blocks of homes and Essex Centre businesses.

Light Up the Night Tour 2020

The Kingsville Fantasy of Lights looks a little bit different this year – and so do our Light Displays. Visit these locations throughout the Town to view the Light Displays. Help us light up the night!

Williams Light Show

This house has over 9,000 light bulbs that dance to holiday favourites such as Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer and modern-day pop hits like Thunder by Imagine Dragons.  Take a drive to witness this light display first hand! Light shows at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00pm every night from Nov  29th – Dec 26th!  Tune in to FM 91.5 to hear the music from the comfort of your own car!


Lakeshore Christmas Lights Tour

The Belle River on the Lake BIA has once again decorated the trees in Optimist Park. They have also erected decorated trees on Notre Dame, plus, several of the businesses on Notre Dame have decorated their windows. Take a stroll down Notre Dame to view the decorations and check out the window paintings. While there, take a selfie and stop in and support our local businesses.
Visit #Lakeshore spirit and identify streets and areas families can drive by this holiday season. Here you will find streets in the comments that would be great to enjoy a drive to see the Christmas lights and decorations. If you have pictures, please post for those who may be unable to go out.

Light Up LaSalle – Holiday Lights

December 2020

In anticipation of the holiday season, LaSalle residents and businesses are invited to showcase their holiday spirit in this year’s Light Up LaSalle – Holiday Lights Contest. Those participating in the event are encouraged to decorate the outside of their homes and businesses with holiday lights and décor. Prizes are offered for both home and business participants.

Get in the holiday spirit with the Town of Tecumseh’s Holiday Lights program. Take a stroll, ride or drive through the Town to see all the holiday lights. We have colour coded the areas for volume of displays: red for more than 10; orange for 5-10 and yellow for 5 or less. View the map here.



Bright Lights Windsor – Citywide

December 2020 – January 10, 2021

Consistent with public health guidelines associated with the “Red-Control” zone, the City of Windsor is pleased to introduce a reimagined Bright Lights Windsor for 2020 that can be enjoyed across the community in the absence of our traditional event at Jackson Park.
