Amherstburg Canada Day Festival, Run & Outdoor Movie
Monday, July 1, 9:00 am to 10:00 pm
Celebrate our Nation’s birthday in Amherstburg! The day kicks off with the most patriotic run in the country, the Canada D’Eh 5K Run! Throughout the day enjoy FREE activities, live entertainment and a an Outdoor movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them! (Bring your lawn chairs and blankets).
NEW this year is Amherstburg in MOTION at Toddy Jones Park! Kids get to explore Amherstburg’s Mightiest Machines – firetrucks, Zamboni, Snowplow and so much more!
NEW – Families are encouraged to ride their bike to the festival! Bike Windsor Essex will be hosting a bike valet, where you let them watch your bike while you enjoy the festivities. Riders of all ages are encouraged to decorate their bikes in festive red and white and enjoy the great Canadian ride around Toddy Jones Park.

11 AM: National Anthem & Opening Ceremony
11:30 AM: Kerri Brown Vocal Studio
12:15 PM: River Town Dance Academy
1 PM – 2 PM: Nigerian & Scottish Cultural Performance
2 PM – 3 PM: New Canadians Citizenship Ceremony
3 PM – 4 PM: The Spirit of the Four Directions
4 PM: FREE HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUPCAKES!
4 PM -7 PM: FREE Pony Rides
5 PM – 6 PM: South Asian & Filipino Cultural Performance
6 PM – 7 PM: Middle Eastern & Slovakian Cultural Performance
7 PM – 8 PM: Two Years Apart Band
8 PM – 10 PM: Big Louie and The Band
10 PM (Approx.) : Outdoor Movie!
