Butterfly Identification Workshop
Sunday, July 21, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Can you tell a Monarch from a Viceroy? Join Ontario Nature and expert biologist James Kamstra, as we lead you on a hike through Stone Road Alvar Nature Reserve to learn about Ontario’s butterfly species. You will learn to identify common species found in the area and how to make your own backyard more pollinator-friendly. Wear long pants and sturdy closed-toe shoes; we will be walking off trail for a portion of the event.
Meet at the Carolinian canada sign mid-way down Stone Road on the west side, park along the road.
To Bring: Please bring snacks, water and butterfly nets and field guides if you have them.
If you have any questions please contact Kate Douglas, our Member Relations Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Venue: Pelee Island
