Join Gerry Waldron, author of Trees of the Carolinian Forest, for a walk through Ontario Nature’s Stone Road Alvar Nature Reserve. This is an exceptional ecosystem with very high biodiversity, from the exposed limestone bedrock, to prairie-like vegetation and dry woodlands of Carolinian trees and shrubs. Hopefully some members of the alvar fauna will make an appearance. Meet at the Carolinian Canada sign mid-way down Stone Road on the west side, parking along the road.

Venue: Pelee Island

Township of Pelee, ON N0R 1M0 Canada
