Kingsville Migration Festival
Thursday, October 14 to Sunday, October 17
The 52nd annual Migration Festival welcomes the community to a celebration of migration, heritage, nature conservation and Jack Miner. The Migration Festival is aiming to have as many activities outdoors as possible. For any indoor activities, attendees will be required to provide identification and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Opening Ceremonies: Oct 14 at 6pm Mettawas Park gazebo
Sacred Fire Ceremony: with Caldwell First Nations on October 15, at 6 pm
The Great Migration Paint Out: Painting from Oct 14 – 16, judging Oct 17 at the Grovedale Arts and Culture Centre 1pm – 5pm.
Migration Festival Marketplace: Oct 16 & 17
- On Saturday, October 16, the marketplaces will be at the grounds of the Grovedale Arts & Culture Centre at 103 Park Street and the Lakeside Park Pavilion from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- On Sunday, October 17 a marketplace will be at Lakeside Park Pavilion from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m
Guided Walk and Roll Series: Oct 16 & 17. The Migration Festival is offering several tours over the course of the weekend, both guided and self-guided. Each topic has been chosen to showcase Kingsville’s unique history and was made possible by our dedicated local historians. These walks are free to attend. See website for details.
Children and Family Fun Events: At three locations! Kingsville Lions Park, Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary, and Carnegie Arts and Visitor Centre.
