The 29th annual Fantasy of Lights Festival has something for the whole family. The festival starts on November 20, 2021. Come out and join the Town of Kingsville for all of the activities, including fireworks! You can also take part in the Light up the Night Competition. Decorate your home or storefront for a chance to win.

Schedule of Events and Activities

Santa claus parade

Saturday Nov 20, 2021. The 18th Annual Santa Claus Parade happens at 6:00 pm in downtown Kingsville. The theme is “What Christmas Means to Me.”

lighting of the lights kick-off and fireworks

8 pm. Lakeside Park, Upper Bowl. After the parade, make your way to Kingsville’s Lakeside Park for Fantasy of Lights Opening Ceremonies. Santa will flick the switch to light up all the displays throughout the park. Enjoy hot chocolate, Christmas carolers, fireworks, and all the festive fun!

Christmas artisan market

Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm

Lakeside Park Pavilion. Browse unique, handmade items from local artisans in Lakeside Park Pavilion. Listen to live music and find amazing gift ideas for everyone on your list.  Anyone attending this indoor event will be required to provide proof of double vaccination and fill out a COVID-19 screening questionnaire.

Paws and claus

Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 6-8 pm

Lakeside Park Pavilion. By donation. Bring your pet and your camera to the Lakeside Park Pavilion to have their photo taken with Santa! There will also be pet-friendly vendors onsite. Pets must remain on a leash. Anyone attending this indoor event will be required to provide proof of double vaccination and fill out a COVID-19 screening questionnaire.

Kingsville express train

November 21, 2021-January 5, 2022 5-8 pm (various dates- see website for schedule). 

Admission: $2.00 per person, $5 per family of 4, free for children under 2. Hop on Kingsville’s new Express train for a ride around the upper bowl of Lakeside Park to see the light displays. Sip hot chocolate and take in the sights.

Light up the night competition

Decorate your home or storefront for a chance to win our Light up the Night Competition! Plot your address on our Light up the Night map to enter. This map will be available starting November 1, 2021. Along with bragging rights, the winner in each category will have their name and the year engraved on an ornament, which we will hang on the Town Hall Christmas tree for the holiday season.  Winner’s name and the year will be added to the Christmas tree plaque, which Kingsville District High School’s TechZone is making.
