Loverboy and George Thorogood & The Destroyers- (Postponed)
Thursday, April 30, 8:00 pm
American rock legend George Thorogood & The Destroyers have sold over 15 million albums, played more than 8,000 ferocious live shows, and built a catalog of classic hits that includes “Who Do You Love”, “I Drink Alone”, “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer”, “Move It On Over” and “Bad To The Bone” as “one of the most iconic bands in rock & roll history” (Rapid City Journal). They broke records with their 50 Dates/50 States tour, delivered landmark performances at Live Aid and on Saturday Night Live, and became mainstays of radio, MTV and stages worldwide for more than two generations. Through it all, they’ve remained one of the most consistent – and consistently passionate – progenitors of blues-based rock in pop culture history. Closing out the show will be the legendary Canadian rock band Loverboy. Since forming in 1978, Loverboy has been “Working for the Weekend” delighting audiences around the world since and quickly becoming an MTV darling as one of the first bands featured on the music channel.
