THE LIVING RIVER PROJECT: ART, WATER AND POSSIBLE WORLDS: This exhibition considers the cultural, historical and environmental significance of water issues in the Windsor-Detroit corridor. Co-curated by Patrick Mahon and Stuart Reid.

SOVEREIGN ACTS: In Sovereign Acts, the artists contend with the legacy of colonial representations. Their work returns to the multi-levelled history of ‘Performing Indian’ to recuperate the erased and objectified performer as an ancestor, an artist, and an Indigenous subject. Curated by Wanda Nanibush.

LOOK AGAIN! CELEBRATING THE AGW COLLECTION AT 75 YEARS: The Art Gallery of Windsor’s “Look Again” exhibition will include many of your favorite works and those which have truly defined the Gallery’s collection as high quality – Prudence Heward, Emily Carr, members of the Group of Seven and their contemporaries. Notably enriched in this exhibition is the Gallery’s continuing commitment to Indigenous histories, especially in the Great Lakes basin, featuring important works by Bonnie Devine, Norval Morrisseau, Daphne Odjig and Angus Trudeau.

A highlight is the colourful history of McQueen Marine Limited based in Amherstburg for over 50 years. Come aboard to hear the stories told by crew members of McQueen’s famous tug , the Atomic”. See what the Navy Yard Park was like 50 years ago!
