Excellence in Focus: Nancy Bauer and Linda Monin – Nancy graduated as a Fine Art Major from the University of Guelph in 1977 and practiced as a registered nurse until 2013 when she became a full-time visual artist. She is equally comfortable in watercolours and acrylics. Over the past 5 years, Nancy has become well known locally for her exquisite wildlife paintings and photography as well as her still-life & portrait pieces. Growing up in Ottawa in the sixties, Linda appreciated the special and everyday moments in her life. While studying drawing, watercolour and oil painting, she rediscovered the heartfelt joy of earlier memories; these feelings inspired her to explore this unique concept of transforming photographs into beautiful watercolour-like life portraits connecting us to the moments and the memories.

P*ART*Y: Arlene Murphy and Andrea Mercier – Arlene and Andrea have been creating exceptional artworks together for more than three years now, logging two major Co’llusion Art Exhibit events, a winning entry into the Canada 150 competition and several sales of original and limited edition reproductions. Although their journey is far from over together, they are taking off the next year in sabbatical to work on their own personal creative projects and pushing off the next Co’llusion Art Exhibit into 2021. There must be a party to celebrate these new projects, the work they have done together and to thank all of their friends and family for supporting them in their art and their passions. So this final show slash PARTY, for the foreseeable future, is to celebrate all of us, the art, the fun and the people in our lives!
