The total distance is 20km at a slow roll style (12 – 15km/h).  You must have a safe, functioning bicycle, and lights are mandatory since this is a evening/night ride. A lucky Spits fan with a great costume is going to win the chance to trick or treat with the Spitfires!  The first 250 kids (13 and under) will receive a Spitfire Halloween bag on their way into the WFCU Centre.  Dress to impress – kids wearing a costume can visit the concourse table outside Section 109 and enter for the chance to trick or treat with the Spits and three friends on Halloween night!  Take a picture with Scarehouse Windsor, who will be in full ‘scarewear’, posed in the guest services area as ‘frozen’ Halloween statues.  Use the hashtag #GOSPITSGO to share photos from the game.  Join in for a great day of family fun as the Spits take on the Sudbury Wolves!

Halloween sugar Cookie Madness

Bring the little ones into Indigo to decorate their very own Halloween sugar cookie treats! This activity will be led by the talented artists of Sweet Revenge Bakeshop. The teacher will demonstrate one design, and the students imagination will come up with the rest. The children will learn how to make royal icing, how to block colour a cookie and how to troubleshoot common problems that may occur. The teachers will go over piping techniques, giving the students opportunity to practice their piping before executing their designs onto the cookies. The kids will take home 5 spooktacularly decorated sugar cookies, of their own creation! This event is perfect for kids ages 4 and up.
