Experience: Lee & Maria’s Cooking Classes

Each class features a tasting menu prepared by Chef Benjamin from Iron Kettle Bed & Breakfast, right in front of you while he explains different techniques used to make the dishes in your kitchen easily. This is an interactive class with lots of Q & A time during the meal. Chef Ben has worked in kitchens around the world, including stops in France and Switzerland. He brings his culinary prowess, love of fresh local ingredients, and humour to each cooking class.

All of our classes take place at Lee & Maria’s On-Farm Market and feature seasonal ingredients grown in Essex County, usually right from our field just a few yards away from the market.

Each course is paired with a wine or beer selection from an Essex County winery or brewery. Past partners have included Muscedre Winery, G.L. Heritage Brewing, Colchester Ridge Estate Winery (CREW), Pelee Island Winery, Kingsville Brewing Co. and many more.
