The town of Essex has many stories to tell. From explosions to inventions, the town has faced many challenges and triumphs. The history of the area and its landscape are portrayed in the murals and can be found throughout Essex Centre and Harrow.
The Town of LaSalle showcases many local artists in the area by allowing them to display their work for the community to enjoy. From local neighbourhood murals to mosaic and river-dance murals the Town of LaSalle is bright and vibrant.
Today Ford City is a revitalized and vibrant community with successful businesses and active associations. Thirty six outdoor murals have been erected on twenty sites along Drouillard Road, the hubbub of the BIA. These works serve to honour and preserve the area’s place in Windsor’s history, and that of the global auto industry.
