Museum Windsor – Maison Francois Baby House

In accordance with the Province of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen several measures are in place to ensure your safety at most businesses and attractions. This includes proper social distancing measures, mandatory masks, and as well capacity limits at some attractions. Please contact businesses prior to visiting for service restrictions.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and for the safety and security of residents, some City of Windsor facilities remain closed with an unknown reopening date. Please consult their website or contact The City of Windsor for further details.

The historic house, built by François Baby, is designated as a National Historic Site of Canada, and now features permanent galleries on Windsor’s French Roots, the War of 1812, and the Battle of Windsor, along with information on the house itself and the family that lived there.
