Tourism Windsor Essex Prepares To Welcome People ‘Home For The Holidays’
New Marketing Campaign and Digital Itinerary Builder Launched
Windsor, ON – Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island is welcoming Windsorite’s back to the region during the holiday season with the Home For The Holidays campaign, launched to highlight attractive over night accommodation options available in Windsor.
The ‘Home For The Holidays’ campaign launched today at yqgfortheholidays.ca– a microsite highlighting discounted overnight accommodation options available during the holidays for visiting family and friends. The tongue-in-cheek campaign highlights what everyone thinks when they travel for the holidays – ‘home’ time during the holidays is great, but a private retreat space and your own bathroom makes the visit that much more pleasurable.
“We love seeing our hotels full during the holiday season – with visitors from out of town, or locals returning and looking for a comfortable night’s stay away from the in laws” said Gordon Orr, Tourism Windsor Essex CEO. “With over $76 million being invested into hotel room upgrades over the last several years, every room in the region has a new look and feel, providing private accommodations to escape to during the holidays for a few moments of peace and quiet between family dinners and celebrations.”
