Canadian Transportation Museum & Heritage Village

Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village promotes the preservation of rare, classic and antique vehicles and other historical artifacts from the area. It is a pioneer village situated on a 100-acre site  and emphasizes the history and heritage of Windsor and Essex County. Features fully restored buildings ranging from 1826-1920 and offers tours to individuals and groups, education programs for schools, seniors and community groups, rough camping, 50’s themed Diner open for breakfast & lunch. Thursday Cruise nights (May – Oct). Facilities available for weddings, conferences, special events,and community annual special events schedule includes a Flea Market, Fun on Wheels car show, Arts and Crafts and Antique Show, Hi Ho Restaurant Display, CKLW Radio 80 Display, and Checkered Flag Raceway Display, Drive-in Movie Display Elmwood Casino Display, antique Harley Davidson Motorcycle Display and WWII D-Day Display.
