Holiday Beach Conservation Area

In accordance with the Province of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen several measures are in place to ensure your safety at most businesses and attractions. This includes proper social distancing measures, mandatory masks, and as well capacity limits at some attractions. Please contact businesses prior to visiting for service restrictions.

Please note: Holiday Beach is currently closed due to unsafe beach conditions related to erosion.

This Conservation Area is renowned for its birding. Each fall, the conservation area hosts the Festival of Hawks showcasing the spectacular migration of thousands of hawks, vultures, eagles, falcons and other birds of prey. For this reason, this site has been named an Important Bird Area (IBA).  Holiday Beach Conservation Area has large shady picnic areas, a playground, nature trails, a boardwalk, sandy beach for swimming, and a three story observation tower. Group/seasonal camping is available. Day usage fees apply
